Darrious Jamal Moore
It is with great pleasure that I serve as the new Assistant Instructional Leader of Zora Ellis Junior High School. It is truly an honor to become a part of the TIGER family and community, where it is evident that our distinctive population of student learners is provided with a world-class education.
I have thirteen years of experience in the educational field, from elementary to secondary education. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Miles College and an M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University.
As the Assistant Instructional Leader of Zora Ellis Junior High School, I aim to reinforce Talladega City School’s mission and vision to guide all students to achieve excellence in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. I will work diligently with the teachers and staff to continue the legacy of success by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. We will also focus on character education, creating and sustaining a positive climate and culture for all students, leading with innovative initiatives, and attracting and retaining high-performing students who exemplify a community of leaders on the road to success!
